Stowarzyszenie Integracja i Rozwoj, Poland
The Association for Integration and Development (Stowarzyszenie Integracja i Rozwoj – SIR) was established on June 21, 2001, in Kielce (Poland).
For over 20 years, SIR has implemented more than 60 projects funded by the European Union, and has been actively involved in various initiatives focusing on the following areas:
Social economy and social exclusion
Since 2016, when it received accreditation from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, SIR has been the leader of the consortium creating the Kielce-Ostrowiec Social Economy Support Centre in the northern region of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
Labour market and third sector support
SIR has provided support to 221 unemployed individuals by granting them non-repayable subsidies to start their own businesses. It has also distributed 500 micro-grants to NGOs and informal groups.
Education and international cooperation
SIR has implemented 7 projects funded by the Erasmus+ programme in the fields of youth education, vocational counselling, and entrepreneurship. It has also contributed to the development of teaching models and support for soft skills, the creation of internship methods, and several e-learning platforms.
Socialinių Inovacijų Fondas (SIF), Lithuania
The Social Innovation Fund (Socialinių Inovacijų Fondas – SIF) is a non-governmental organisation established in 1994 to support individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with fewer opportunities in making positive changes in their life through the provision of educational opportunities, social support, information, and advice.
One of the main areas of SIF’s activity is ensuring gender equality and equal opportunities for all through education and innovations. Nowadays SIF is one of the leading Lithuanian NGO operating in different spheres, such as women human rights, gender equality and equal opportunities, encouraging diversity and promoting the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups of adults and young people.
The other SIF’s areas of activity are dedicated for work with different socially disadvantaged groups: long-term unemployed, migrants, disabled, single parents, youth, people in remote areas, women survivors of domestic violence. SIF provides help and assistance to the low-skilled people having fewer opportunities in the society and the labour market. It aims to foster their social inclusion, employability and entrepreneurship through training, guiding, coaching services and dialogical groups as well to contribute to their empowerment and building their capacities to be competent and successful in the labour market. The staff of SIF has a long-term experience in coordinating and managing European and national projects, developing training programs and working as trainers and facilitators with different groups of adults and youth.
KMOP, Greece
KMOP, founded in 1977 in Greece, is a leading civil society organization dedicated to empowering and enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities through social support services, education, research & policy and, raising awareness on current societal challenges. Over the years, KMOP has broadened its impact to a global scale, maintaining a presence in three countries—Greece, Belgium, and North Macedonia—with permanent offices in Athens, Piraeus, Kifissia, Thessaloniki, Brussels, and Skopje.
At the heart of KMOP‘s work is the commitment to tackle social challenges through evidence-based solutions that foster individual and collective prosperity. Our approach focuses on creating and implementing innovative social programs designed to build self-worth, reduce inequalities, and promote inclusive and sustainable development.
Over the last two decades, KMOP has launched more than 450 social initiatives, positively impacting over 400,000 individuals with the support of both institutional and private donors.
Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo "Danilo Dolci", Italy
The Centre for Creative Development “Danilo Dolci” is a non-profit organisation with a history deeply rooted in Danilo Dolci’s social and educational work.
We operate in the educational and social fields to promote the creative and nonviolent development of communities through participatory methods. Our goal is to create an environment where everyone can contribute fully and creatively to society.
We pursue our mission by implementing projects and initiatives at local, national, and international levels, while identifying synergies and cooperation opportunities with schools, universities, institutions, organisations, and the broader community.
Our goals:
● To test and promote innovative, participatory educational approaches in both formal and non-formal settings.
● To enhance active citizenship, democratic participation, and social dialogue through research-action processes aimed at social change.
● To promote nonviolent development, critical thinking, and empathetic, responsible, and reciprocal communication.
● To contribute to social justice by creating conditions that foster harmonious growth, promote social inclusion, and support human rights.
Association Un Monde Migrant, France
Un Monde Migrant is a non-profit association, politically neutral and independent of any religious affiliation. It pursues the following objectives: a) Raising awareness among the population about the challenges of migration and breaking down taboos and prejudices about its negative aspects. b) Producing audiovisual projects on sociocultural themes to inform and foster dialogue. c) Informing young people in developing countries, often seen as major sources of migration to Europe, to help them realize they can find opportunities in their own countries without idealizing Europe as an Eldorado.
To go beyond the clichés often associated with migrants, UMM develops a variety of projects, including a) Multimedia reports tracing the journeys of people with diverse backgrounds. b) Interactive questionnaires, such as “Calculate Your Migrant Coefficient!” to address migration in an engaging and informative way.
Un Monde Migrant aims to create a space for reflection and dialogue open to all.
